I visited a while ago, my dog was uninsured and was hit by a car causing her serious injuries on one of her limbs, my dog was rushed to a vet hospital and was told that she needed amputation, that’s when I looked online and found Slaton’s veterinary hospital, was given an appointment immediately and she was seen by Dr Slaton. I would give Dr. Slaton and the veterinary hospital a 5 Star or better. My dog had to have surgery for bladder stones and instead of opening her up he performed state of the art laser lithotripsy. Ended up keeping her for a few days as she had severe inflammation every day he either called me or sent me an email or text to give me her progress. He even took pictures and sent them to me. Dr. Slaton is not only a wonderful doctor, he’s a genuinely wonderful person. He helped us through a very difficult time battling osteosarcoma (a horrible cancer). He provided support and advice without hesitation and requiring a ton of visits and tests. He cares about his patients and their family. Wonderful office filled with wonderful people. Doctor Slaton is the BEST veterinarian!! He saved our cat’s life a few years ago. Other doctors were treating our cat for IBD when in fact he ate a pistachio shell and it was blocking his intestines.
