Doctor Slaton is the BEST veterinarian!! He saved our cat’s life a few years ago. Other doctors were treating our cat for IBD when in fact he ate a pistachio shell and it was blocking his intestines. Doctor Slaton was the one who noticed something was wrong and he informed us that our cat needs surgery ASAP, he saved his life. It has become challenging to find a good local vet, and I'm so happy to have found Dr. Slaton's practice (again!) His staff is very friendly, kind, efficient and knowledgeable. Saw him MANY (15?) years ago and was impressed then by his very genuine love for all animals--I had brought in a sick rat once, a rescue bulldog another, he treated them both with same level of compassion and concern. He's very experienced with giant breed dogs, so I'm happy to be back to his practice with my big silly boy.

I went to Dr. Slaton because my little girl, Baby (a cocker-spaniel) had a tumor over her left eye, and an eye ulcer, and glaucoma in her left eye. He was very thorough, compassion; and did a great cosmetic job, as well as surgical job. I would highly recommend him to anyone!!!!

I recently put down my 2.5 year old sweet pet rat Miriam. It's never easy to get to this point with your beloved fur baby, but having a loving vet ease this experience with compassion and kindness is everything. Dr. Slaton and his staff are the most compassionate veterinary team we've encountered. Throughout the care of our pet they were sensitive to the needs of our blind and elderly dog. After long term heart issues our dog needed to be put down. Doctor Slaton came to our home with sympathy and compassion in our time of heartbreak and his team helped us with setting up the cremation of our beloved dog. Very nice and very busy veterinarian office. I was helped right away. First time patient with my little Chihuahua and they came to me to fill out paperwork while I sat there with her which I thought was very thoughtful. Doctor Mendoza came into the room and was very calming and gentle with my dog. He assessed her and gave me options for treatment and the prices ahead of time. I have been keeping an eye on vet reviews on next door and these guys got glowing reviews. Fast forward to an emergency today with my pup and I went straight there. The experience was outstanding for dog and owner alike. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough.
